Amanitas was Inspired by the superpowers and patterns of the natural world. we worked, LEARNed and played within our interconnectedness. We Explored principles of Radical collaboration and emergence For our future humanity. Contrary to the “Hero” myth of pop-culture, we believe that Positive change does not originate from any single individual, rather, it ebbs and it flows as a force which guides a living system.

Navigating complexity in an era of uncertainty.

“The plain fact is that the planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these qualities have little to do with success as we have defined it.”
— DAVID W. ORR

Our current political, economic and ecological systems are at an edge, in a process of deep change. Frankly, we have NO IDEA as to where we are heading and even less as to where we will end up. Everything seems up for grabs, with only one thing we know for sure:

change is inevitable.

In this context, we were granted with substantial investments to gather over 100 exceptional practitioners, artists and designers of [inner and outer] system change. We met up across the globe to listen, pause and reflect on what the world needs the most today. As a result, we share with you the jewel of our experiences, this living/dead library (stigmergy page) and PLAYBOOK outlining the essence of our insights, failures and hunches for what (might still) come next (or not).

In essence, this is a call for  more MAGIC and more CONNECTION!

Now, we were a distributed team invisibly connected through shared ethos and practice. We explored systems of power and influence beyond planned and incremental change. And we still believe that the true art of [our] nature is radical collaboration and that we have come to co-create our future together.

“Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.”
— TOM ROBBINS

New power operates differently, like a current. It is made by many. It is open, participatory, and peer-driven. It uploads, and it distributes. Like water or electricity, it’s most forceful when it surges. The goal with new power is not to hoard it but to channel it.
